Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed when using TidyConvert’s missed-call recovery, messaging, call routing, and automation tools.

Effective Date April 27, 2026
Applies To TidyConvert

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of TidyConvert, including missed-call recovery workflows, automated text-backs, inbound messaging, follow-up sequences, phone numbers, call forwarding, staff notifications, reporting, and related communication automation features.

You are responsible for your account, your users, your message content, your automations, your customer communications, and your compliance with applicable laws, carrier rules, telecom provider requirements, and these platform rules.

1. General Use Requirements

You may use TidyConvert only for lawful business communication purposes. You must use the platform in a way that is honest, accurate, non-abusive, and consistent with the permissions and consent you have from the people you contact.

You agree not to use TidyConvert in a way that:

  • violates any law, regulation, carrier rule, provider rule, or court order
  • creates legal, security, privacy, or reputational risk for TidyConvert
  • interferes with the platform, telecom providers, carriers, or other users
  • misleads recipients about who is contacting them or why
  • uses automation in a deceptive, abusive, or unlawful way

2. Consent Requirements

You must have all legally required consent before calling, texting, automating, routing, or following up with any person through TidyConvert. This includes consent required for transactional, informational, marketing, promotional, reminder, or follow-up communications.

TidyConvert may provide tools to help with consent, opt-outs, blocked contacts, suppression, and workflow control. These tools do not replace your responsibility to comply with applicable law.

3. Prohibited Messaging Practices

You may not use TidyConvert to send or trigger:

  • spam or unsolicited messages
  • messages to people who have not provided required consent
  • messages to people who have opted out, unsubscribed, or asked not to be contacted
  • misleading, deceptive, or false messages
  • messages that hide or misrepresent the sender
  • messages designed to evade carrier filtering or compliance systems
  • messages that impersonate another person, business, agency, or brand
  • messages that pressure, threaten, harass, or abuse recipients

4. Prohibited Content

You may not use TidyConvert to send, promote, facilitate, or automate content involving:

  • illegal products, services, or activity
  • fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, or deceptive financial activity
  • hate, harassment, threats, intimidation, or abuse
  • sexual exploitation, non-consensual content, or abusive adult content
  • malware, credential theft, malicious links, or security evasion
  • misleading health, financial, legal, or government-related claims
  • content that violates intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • content prohibited by telecom providers, carriers, payment processors, or applicable law

5. Restricted and High-Risk Use Cases

Certain industries, message types, or campaigns may require additional review, documentation, registration, or approval. TidyConvert may reject, restrict, suspend, or require additional information for accounts or workflows involving high-risk or regulated use cases.

Restricted or high-risk use cases may include:

  • healthcare, medical, patient, or appointment-related messaging
  • financial services, lending, credit repair, debt collection, or insurance
  • legal, government, court, or official-notice related communications
  • political, advocacy, fundraising, or public campaign messaging
  • age-restricted, regulated, or location-restricted products or services
  • large-volume outbound messaging or unusual traffic patterns

Approval by TidyConvert does not mean your use is legally compliant. You remain responsible for legal review and compliance.

6. Opt-Out and Suppression Rules

You must honor opt-outs and must not attempt to bypass suppression rules, blocked contact records, carrier blocks, STOP requests, unsubscribe requests, or platform restrictions.

You may not:

  • continue messaging a person after they opt out
  • delete, alter, or bypass suppression records to resume messaging
  • use alternate numbers to avoid an opt-out
  • manually trigger workflows to override blocked-contact rules
  • discourage recipients from using STOP, unsubscribe, or opt-out instructions

7. Automation and Workflow Abuse

TidyConvert workflows must be used for legitimate business communication. You may not configure automations that create excessive, abusive, confusing, misleading, or non-compliant communications.

You may not use automation to:

  • flood recipients with repeated calls or messages
  • send excessive follow-ups after no response
  • trap recipients in confusing or deceptive workflows
  • generate artificial usage, false leads, or fake billing activity
  • test, attack, or overload carrier networks, phone numbers, or the platform

8. Phone Number and Caller ID Misuse

You may not use phone numbers, caller ID, forwarding, or routing features in a deceptive, abusive, unlawful, or misleading way.

You may not:

  • spoof, manipulate, or misrepresent caller identity
  • use numbers to impersonate another business or person
  • use numbers for unlawful robocalling or illegal campaigns
  • resell, transfer, or assign numbers without permission
  • use numbers to bypass carrier, provider, or platform restrictions

9. Platform Security

You may not:

  • attempt to access accounts, systems, data, or resources without permission
  • probe, scan, attack, overload, or disrupt the platform
  • introduce malware, malicious scripts, harmful files, or exploit code
  • reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or misuse the platform
  • circumvent rate limits, security controls, billing controls, or compliance controls
  • use bots, automated scripts, or bulk tools except as expressly allowed

10. Billing and Usage Abuse

You may not manipulate TidyConvert’s billing, usage tracking, customer counting, call minute tracking, or phone number/location tracking.

Prohibited billing abuse includes:

  • creating artificial customer triggers
  • using workflows to inflate or distort usage records
  • attempting to avoid overage fees through technical workarounds
  • using multiple accounts to bypass plan limits
  • interfering with call minute, message, number, or customer usage records

11. Account Access and User Management

You are responsible for users invited to or allowed to access your account. You must not share credentials, allow unauthorized access, or permit users to misuse TidyConvert.

If you believe your account has been compromised, you should contact TidyConvert promptly and take reasonable steps to secure your account.

12. Monitoring and Enforcement

TidyConvert may monitor account activity, message patterns, call activity, usage records, workflow behavior, complaints, opt-out rates, carrier feedback, delivery errors, and other signals to detect abuse, compliance issues, fraud, or platform misuse.

We may take enforcement action when we believe an account, workflow, message, number, user, or use case creates legal, telecom, carrier, payment, security, reputational, or operational risk.

13. Enforcement Actions

If you violate this Acceptable Use Policy, TidyConvert may take one or more actions, including:

  • warning you or requesting changes
  • blocking specific messages, workflows, numbers, or recipients
  • requiring additional verification or compliance documentation
  • pausing or disabling automations
  • suspending phone numbers or account access
  • terminating your account
  • reporting abuse to providers, carriers, payment processors, or authorities where appropriate

14. No Waiver

TidyConvert’s decision not to enforce this policy in one situation does not waive our right to enforce it later. We may act immediately if we believe there is serious risk to users, recipients, carriers, providers, the platform, or TidyConvert.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we do, we may revise the effective date above. Continued use of TidyConvert after changes become effective means the updated policy will apply.
